CALEXICO, CA - El Centro Sector Border Patrol agents have arrested an alleged gang member with a long criminal history.
Border Patrol says the 33-year-old man snuck into the U.S. near the Calexico West Port of Entry yesterday evening.
They say he is a member of the "Loma Bakers" gang. They are known for being affiliated with Sureños, a Southern California criminal organization.
Border Patrol says he previously served a 10-year sentence for voluntary manslaughter.
They say he will be prosecuted for illegally re-entering the U.S. after being deported.
