Man accused of firing shotgun in trailer park is formally charged

Yuma-Terry Dean Cordero Torres appeared before Yuma Justice court Judge Yolanda Torok this afternoon.

He was charged with one felony count for disorderly conduct.

The Yuma County Sheriff's office said Cordero-Torres fired several gunshots in the area of 885 South George Belle avenue late Sunday night.

YCSO said he shot out the window of his home with his shotgun.

No one was injured in the trailer park but a few bullet holes and shattered glass was left in the area.

Cordero-Torres's bond remains the same and he is expected to be back in court next week.
