New Mayor to be named in El Centro

EL CENTRO, CA- A new Mayor will be named Thursday night.

El Centro City Council will reorganize as part of a year-end ritual.

The special meeting will be held at 6pm in the City Council Chambers on Main Street.

Mayor Sedalia Sanders will step down.

Mayor Pro-Tem Ben Solomon is expected to be named the new Mayor for 2013.

No word on who will be named the new Mayor Pro-Tem.
