Community Supports Sophie's Day at Somerton's Council Park

SOMERTON, AZ - The community showed their support Saturday at a festival to benefit a Somerton family who's child has been diagnosed with a rare disease.

The City of Somerton and the Be a Hero Foundation sponsored "Sophie's Day at Council Park in Somerton.

Sophie is a 15 month old girl diagnosed with a progressive disease condition is in need of a liver transplant. The family is actively seeking a live donor and financial assistance.
