Two car crash in Yuma sends one person to the hospital

YUMA, AZ - A two car crash this afternoon sends one person to the hospital.

It happened around 1:30PM at the intersection of 17th Street and 1^st Avenue.

The Yuma Fire Department says a Ford van ran the stop sign at 17th and crashed into a Chevy work truck on 1^st Avenue.

YFD says the driver of the Ford is ok but the driver of the Chevy was taken to Yuma Regional Medical Center.

The extent of the driver's injuries are not known.
