Two MS-13 gang members arrested in separate incidents near Yuma

YUMA, AZ - Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents have arrested two Mara Salvatrucha gang members during two separate incidents.

They say on Thursday they arrested a group of people who illegally entered the U.S. near Andrade and discovered that one of them was an MS-13 gang member with a long criminal history.

He had been deported last August.

Then yesterday, agent patrolling along the Colorado River arrested a person after he swam across the international border.

Agents identified the suspect as an MS-13 gang member.

They say both suspects will be prosecuted.
