IMPERIAL VALLEY, CA - More than $1 million worth of drugs are off the streets thanks to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
Officers working at the Andrade and Calexico Ports of Entry made four big busts over the weekend.
The biggest bust happened Friday evening at the Calexico Downtown Port of Entry.
A drug sniffing dog alerted officers to the dashboard of a car driven by a 23-year-old woman.
Agents found 17-wrapped packages of methamphetamine and 6-wrapped packages of cocaine.
Combined, the meth and coke weighed 41-pounds with an estimated street value of $570,000.
The woman was arrested for attempted drug smuggling.
