Yuma, AZ- Yuma skies were filled with color early this morning for the annual Colorado River Crossing Balloon Festival.
The event kicked off with 30 balloons taking flight as early as 7 in the morning from the West Wetlands Park.
The Caballeros De Yuma say this festival attracts some of the most colorful and unique balloons from the west and Southwest.
Many people also travel long distances too see these large balloons fly in the sky.
The event continued on throughout the afternoon and evening at the Desert Sun Stadium where the Colorado Balloon Glow took place followed by fireworks.
If you missed out on Saturday's festivities another balloon launch will take place Friday morning at the Wetlands Park.
Gates open at 6am.
