Annual Turkey Trot at Gateway Park in Yuma

YUMA, AZ - Hundreds put on their running shoes this morning for the annual Turkey Trot the 5K/10K fun run is put on by the City of Yuma's Parks and Recreation Department.

Over 700 people participated in this years walk and run. The turkey trot is the second run in a series of races put on during the cooler months.

Organizers of the event say each year more and more people sign up and within the last year there was a significant increase.

The next fun run and walk will be the reindeer round up on December 15th and West Wetlands Park.
