2 transported to the hospital after a man ran a stop sign Yuma

YUMA, AZ- 2 people transported to the hospital after a man ran a stop sign.

It happened just after 3pm Sunday afternoon at 17th street and 1st Avenue in Yuma. Police say the driver of a Jeep Cherokee was driving west bound when he failed to stop and crashed into a red Chevy Silverado truck.

The driver of the Jeep and a female passenger in the pick-up were both transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center for minor injuries.

YPD, Yuma Fire and Rural metro were all on scene

The driver of the Jeep was cited.
