Deputies arrest 19-year-old man for attacking sister

YUMA, AZ - A 19-year-old man spent Thanksgiving Day behind bars after police say he attacked his sister.

Yuma County Sheriff's Office say Juan Nuñez hit his sister in the face.

It happened Thanksgiving Day around 12pm at their home near the intersection of Vaughn Avenue and Saturn Drive.

Deputies arrested Nuñez.

He has been booked into Yuma County Jail on three charges of assault, threatening, and disorderly conduct.

He remains behind bars on more than $900 bail.
