Attempted murder suspect sought in Yuma

YUMA, AZ - Yuma Police are investigating an attempted murder.

It happened just before 1pm Friday afternoon in the 1700 block of West 26th Street.

Police say 36-year-old Glenn Thompson Baxter was shot twice.

He was taken to Yuma Regional Medical Center and is expected to recover.

Streets in the area were closed for about four hours while investigators searched for evidence.

Police have no suspects at this time.

Anyone with information is asked to call Yuma police or 78-crime.
