Yuma Police continue to investigate an attempted murder

Yuma, AZ- Yuma Police continue to investigate an attempted murder. It happened just before 1PM Friday on the 1700 Block of West 26th Drive.

Police say 36 year old Glenn Thompson Baxter was shot twice.

He was taken to the Yuma Regional Medical Center and is expected to recover.

Streets in the area were closed for about 4 hours yesterday while investigators searched for evidence.

Anyone with information is asked to call Yuma Police or 78-Crime.
