Yuma attempted murder suspect appears in court

SAN LUIS, AZ- A man who opened fire at a house party over the weekend made his initial appearance in Yuma Justice Court in San Luis Tuesday morning.

44 year old Nicolas Amarillas is accused of firing at least a dozen rounds at another man after an argument.

The man he was shooting at was not hit.

Amarillas faces one count of attempted murder, one count of aggravated assault, one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, misconduct involving weapons and criminal damage.

His bond was set at $65,500.

Amarillas is due back in court next week.
