Yuma AZ - The victim in the plane crash that occurred on the 24th of November at the Barry M Goldwater Bombing Range has been identifed as Denise Jeanette McCracken, 49, of Tucson, Arizona. Denise McCracken died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
Border Patrol agents found the single-engine passenger plane west of the Mohawk Mountains, approximately 10 to 15 miles south of Interstate 8, and notified the Yuma County Sheriff's Office.
The plane
involved in the crash was identified as a 1961 Piper Super Cub single engine
plane similar to the one in the picture.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
