Pilot identified in crash outside of Yuma

Yuma--KSWT News 13 has learned the identity of the pilot killed in a plane crash just outside of Yuma.

Yuma County Sheriff Deputies said the pilot is 49-year old "Denise Jeanette McCraken."

The Tucson woman was flying a 1961 Piper Cub like the one seen here.

Last week, agents came across the wreckage on the "Barry 'M' Goldwater bombing range" west of the Mohawk mountains.

Deputies said McCraken died from her injuries.

Investigators continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
