Mexico City-Gerardo Ruiz Esparza, Mexico's secretary of communications and transportation is offering the first detailed accounts of the moments leading up to the crash.

Ruiz told radio formula that the plane hit the ground 1.2 miles from where it took off and then began falling.

The plane then plummeted at a nearly a 45 degree angle.

"The plane practically nose-dived. The impact must have been terrible," he said.

Meanwhile, Jenni Rivera's fans still do not want to believe she is dead.

KSWT News 13 spoke to a therapist who said it is normal for people grieving over the loss of someone they idolize, to be in a state of denial.

Therapist Troy Love of Courageous Journeys said some fans do not want to believe Rivera is dead yet because accepting it will force them to grieve and therefore bring them sadness and pain.

So when she suddenly died, love said fans felt as though they lost more than just a family member.

Through her music fans held on to feelings they didn't know how to express.

"Someone who has been in their life who has made a profound impact in their music, through their example and is not there all of a sudden, its kind of like, are you still there? are you still there?" he said. "I want you to be there. I need you to be there. You impacted my life."

Human remains were found in the wreckage today in Northern Mexico.

Mexican authorities are now running DNA tests on the remains believed to be Rivera's and six other people who also died in the crash.
