YUMA – Yuma Police have arrested a man for disorderly conduct and criminal nuisance.
YPD says they found Isaac Contreras, 29, acting strangely near the meat counter when they arrived around 8:15 Tuesday night.
Contreras had made disturbing statements to employees, suggesting he might be armed with a gun. They say he was also pacing erratically.
The area of the store around the meat counter was evacuated, but Contreras was taken into custody before complete evacuation of the store.
No handgun was found.
Nobody was hurt.
Contreras was booked into the Yuma County Detention Center for Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Nuisance.
