(KSWT News 13) - On Friday, December 14, 2012, a Customs and Border Protection officer at the Andrade Port of Entry referred a 20-year-old Mexican man's Volkswagen for further examination.

During the examination, a narcotics detector dog alerted CBP officers to the dashboard area.

An intensive search led officers to the discovery of six wrapped packages of methamphetamine concealed inside a non-factory compartment within the dashboard.

The narcotics weighed about 13 pounds, with an estimated street value of $195,000.
