YUMA, Ariz. (KSWT News 13) - A Yuma County Superior Court judge has set the sentencing date for the hit-and-run driver who killed 19-year-old Christopher Humbert this summer.
Joseph Dildine, 26, will face only one count, leaving the scene of an accident involving a death, at 8:30 a.m. on January 16, 2013.
In exchange for his guilty plea earlier this month, a count of aggravated DUI and a count of negligent homicide were dropped.
Court records show he was driving on a suspended license at the time. He also admitted he was drinking beer, whiskey and rum the night of the incident.
KSWT News 13 will continue to follow the story closely and keep you up to date on Dildine's sentencing.
