BRAWLEY - Brawley Police had the SWAT truck out today, but don't worry, it was loaded with toys, not ammo.
More than 30 bikes were given to kids who might not otherwise have one this Christmas.
Today's event took place between two o'clock and five o'clock this afternoon (Pacific Time) in the 1200-block of Imperial Avenue.
And it wasn't just about bikes, there was a bash. Brawley Police partnered with Las Chebelas restaurant to provide hotdogs, chips, cookies, cotton candy and more. A live DJ played Christmas music for parents and kids.
Of course, Santa was there to hand out toys and presents to the kids.
Hundreds turned out for today's event. About 75 kids in Brawley were apparently on Santa's "Good List" this afternoon.
