Christmas tree recycling offered in Yuma and El Centro

(KSWT News 13) - The City of Yuma and Allied Waste of the Imperial County are kicking off programs so residents can recycle their Christmas trees.

The City of Yuma has a drop-off site at 265 W. 13^th Street.

After January 5, trees can also be dropped off at Yuma County's North Gila Transfer Site, located at Avenue 7E and County 5^th Street.

Allied Waste of Imperial County is picking up trees that their customers set outside of their homes in the Brawley, Calexico and Imperial County area.

The City of Yuma and Allied Waste remind you to remove all lights, ornaments and tinsels before recycling your tree.
