BLYTHE, CA – (KSWT News 13) – Blythe Police arrested a 14-year-old boy who broke into Palo Verde High School and stole electronics last weekend.
Blythe police say an officer heard glass breaking while patrolling near the high school early Saturday morning around 3:45.
Police say the teenager stole several electronic items from at least three classrooms.
During the break-in, police say the boy hurt himself from breaking the glass. Paramedics were called in to treat the boy at the scene.
Police say the boy will be charged with burglary. Since he's a teenager, police submitted the case to the juvenile court where he faces prosecution.
All stolen items were recovered.
