Tacna--Wellton police have arrested three people for a number of offenses ranging from drug possession to contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
"The house had no power, the water had no pressure coming out," Sergeant David Rodriguez of Wellton Police Department said.
Rodriguez said a person who looked after the 17-year old boy who lives at this house, alerted police to the teenager's living conditions.
"The fridge had no food, since the house had no power, the food was rotten," he said. "The meat was rotten so it was an awful smell in the house."
Rodriguez said the teenager suffered from some kind of a rash but his mother, Carla Harris refused to take him to a doctor to get it treated.
Upon investigating Harris for child neglect, that's when officers discovered guns and drugs.
"We found a sawed off .22 rifle, shotguns, Rodriguez said. "Drugs...we found meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia."
Police also arrested Harris' boyfriend, 45-year old Robert Holmes for misconduct involving guns, possessing dangerous drugs and contributing to a minor.
Police also arrested a second man, 56-yar old Wayne Russell for drug possession.
Police tells KSWT News 13, Russell who is a taxi-cab driver, would drive Harris who works as a stripper in Yuma to work.
The teens mother, her boyfriend and the cab driver were booked into the Yuma County Detention Center.
