Woman found dead in hotel room

EL CENTRO, Calif. (KSWT News 13) - El Centro Police were called to the Executive Inn after the hotel reported a dead woman inside a room Tuesday night. Paramedics performed CPR but the woman did not respond.

Investigators have identified the woman as 38-year old Michelle Kroupa.

Police commander Jeff Mason tells KSWT News 13 there were no obvious signs of foul play.

The medical coroner's office is performing an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
