Thieves wanted in Wellton home burglaries - | News for Yuma, Imperial Valley, El Centro, AZ & CA

WELLTON, AZ- Police are looking for the thieves who burglarized a couple of homes in the small community.

Police say the burglars broke into a home located in the 1100 block of Comanche street last Thursday and stole furniture worth more than $7,700.

They say burglars then struck again on Sunday at a home located on McCullough Avenue. Owners say the thieves stole a generator worth about $1,000.

Wellton police say they served a search warrant at an apartment complex in Yuma and found the stolen items. The thieves are still on the run.
