EL CENTRO, CA- Jury selection for the case against a former California Highway Patrol Lieutenant will begin Thursday morning.

Johnnie Swaim faces four counts of sexually victimizing two underage girls over a decade ago.

Swaim was present at Imperial County Superior Court Wednesday to go through the jury selection process.

According to Swaim's attorney Robert Espinoza and Imperial County District Attorney Heather Trapnell, at least 30 witnesses are scheduled to testify.

The trial is expected to last between four to six weeks.
