Border Patrol busts $75,500 pot load

YUMA, Ariz. — U.S. Border Patrol agents from Yuma Sector arrested four suspected smugglers carrying a total of 151 pounds of marijuana Wednesday night.

Agents patrolling near Gila Bend stopped four men, who were not U.S. citizens, walking through the desert. The men were carrying backpacks filled with pot.

The marijuana had an estimated value of $75,500.

Agents arrested the men and took the marijuana into custody.
