Medium-risk sex offender has a new address

YUMA, Ariz. (KSWT News 13) - The Yuma County Sheriff's Office is alerting the public that a sex offender is now living at a new location in Somerton, Arizona.

David Ware, 44, is living at 17577 South Avenue A.

Deputies say there is an intermediate risk Ware will commit the offense again.

Ware pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual misconduct with a minor on April 8, 2007, in Yuma County Superior Court.

Police say Ware knew the 15-year-old victim he had sexual contact with.

He was sentenced to five years in prison and a lifetime of intensive probation.
