YUMA, Ariz. (KSWT News 13) - Yuma City Council voted 6-1 in favor of brining curbside recycling to Yuma.

The one "no" vote?

The mayor.

Yuma City Mayor Alan Krieger says he supports the idea of curb-side recycling. But he says the city's contract with Allied Waste is a good deal for the private company and a bad deal for taxpayers.

Residents will start getting the blue recycling containers as soon as May.
