SAN
LUIS Ariz. (KSWT News 13) — Customs and Border Protection officers arrested a Mexican man traveling through the San Luis port of Entry on Monday for attempting to
smuggle 45.6 pounds of cocaine into Arizona.
Officers working at the Port of Entry asked Fernando Rivera Aispuro, 36, from San
Luis, Mexico, to pull his car over for a secondary inspection.
A narcotics detection dog alerted officers of drugs in the back
of Aispuro's 1994 Ford utility truck.
Officers then found 19 packages of cocaine hidden in a tool
compartment.
The drugs and car were processed for seizure.
