The word “Yuma” added to list Homeland Security monitors online

Yuma, AZ - The word "Yuma" is part of a list of keywords the Department of Homeland Security is using to monitor social networking sites.

The Department of Homeland Security was forced to release a list of keywords and phrases it monitors on social media networking sites under a Freedom on Information Act request.

The list provides some insights as to what DHS feels are "signs of terrorist or other threats to the U.S."

The released document goes on to detail how Homeland Security is monitoring social media website, and how perceived threats they find online should be reported up the chain of command.
