Man choke holds and hold gun to co-worker, get 15-days jail time

Posted: Updated:

KINGMAN, Ariz. (AP) - A former Mohave County dam maintenance worker faces possible jail time and probation after pleading guilty to disorderly conduct with a weapon in connection with what was described as a prank.

According to court documents, 57-year-old Clifford Olsen placed another worker in a choke hold and put a gun to the worker's head while boasting he could kill the other worker at any time.

The Daily Miner (http://bit.ly/11EywCx ) reports that the other worker and other witnesses told authorities that Olsen seemed to be joking or trying to show off.

Olsen pleaded guilty this week under a plea agreement that calls for a 15-day jail sentence and three years of probation. He also must surrender the handgun used in the incident last spring.
