United Blood Services is low on blood; encourages donations

YUMA, Ariz. (KSWT News 13) - With the flu season at its peak, United Blood Services tells us they urgently need donors with all blood types.

Anyone who feels healthy and meets the blood donation criteria is encouraged to consider donating blood.

There will be a blood drive on Thursday, January 24, from 10 am to 2 pm at City Hall, located at 1 City Plaza.

You can also make a donation appointment by visiting www.bloodhero.com or calling 1-877-UBS-HERO (1-877-827-4376).
