YUMA, Ariz. (KSWT News 13) - Yuma police is investigating the third fire set to the same house this week as a string of arsons.
Earlier this week, someone set fire to the home's backyard twice, and a woman living there had to be sent to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
Today, the arsonist returned a third time.
At around 5:30 am, firefighters put out the flames of a fire outside one of the bedroom windows.
No one was hurt and the fire did not reach into the house.
In the first fire, a fire spread from a fence in her backyard to a picnic table and wheelbarrow.
After quickly putting the fire out, firefighters tell us they went back to the same house a couple of hours later to put out a second fire that had been set to a gate.
Yuma police tell us that although they believe there is a connection between the fires, they are also investigating each case seperately.
