Border patrol arrests 14 smugglers carrying 452 pounds of pot

YUMA, Ariz. (KSWT News 13) - U.S. Border Patrol agents working in the Yuma Sector arrested 14 drug smugglers and busted them with 452 pounds of marijuana.

Kyle Estes, an agent with the Yuma Sector Communications Division, says agents saw several men walking through Cabeza Prieta Wildlife Refuge with backpacks.

Agents arrested the men and found large bundles of marijuana inside their backpacks.

The pot is estimated to have a value of $226,000.
