Man robbed at gunpoint outside of convenience store

EL CENTRO, Calif. (KSWT News 13) - A man is arrested for robbing a man outside a convenience store.

Police say the victim was getting into his car when 39-year-old Frank Lopez put a gun to the back of his head and demanded money.

It happened Sunday at around 1 am.

Police say Lopez had the victim's cell phone when officers arrested him but he did not have a gun on him. Still, police are charging Lopez with armed robbery.
