Mayor Al Krieger appointed to League of City Military Communities Council

YUMA, Ariz. (KSWT News 13) – Yuma Mayor Al Krieger has been appointed to the National League of Cities' 2013 Military Communities Council.

The council is a group of elected and municipal officials that host or are in close proximity to a military installation.

Hosting military facilities poses unique challenges.

Mayor Krieger was in our KSWT News 13 studio to talk about what some of those challenges are, and what he brings to the council.

The Military Communities Council brings municipality leaders together to share ideas and help foster cooperation between the military and city governments.
