YUMA, Ariz.
(KSWT News 13) - The people of Yuma
are resting a little easier tonight.
Three teenaged armed robbers are
behind bars, and are likely to be there for awhile.
The trio was in court this afternoon
and formally charged in Yuma
Justice Court.
They may look like children, but
police say they are known, violent gang members.
Seventeen-year-old Abel Ruiz,
16-year-old Anthony Michael Sanchez and 17-year-old Isaac Garcia appeared before the judge.
Police say these three pointed guns
at people, sometimes in broad daylight, and stole their money.
Clearly, the court views these three
teenagers as very dangerous criminals. The statement was loud and clear as bond
was set for the three teen criminals.
Bond for Ruiz and Sanchez has been
set at $2,000,000 each.
Garcia is being held on $1,000,000
bond.
Police
believe the three teens may have committed other violent crimes.
They're due back in court February
8.
