Sex offender moves into new home in Yuma - | News for Yuma, Imperial Valley, El Centro, AZ & CA

YUMA, Ariz. (KSWT News 13) - A convicted sex offender has a new address in Yuma. 

The Yuma County Sheriff's Office would like to notify the public that Christopher Michael Allyn, 40, now lives at 13499 East 48th Street in Yuma.

In September 1990, Allyn was convicted of third degree rape by the Clark County Superior Court in the State of Washington. 

Allyn was sentenced to one year in jail and had to complete a sex offender treatment program in Portland, Oregon.

In 2000, he failed to register as a sex offender and was sentenced to another year in jail. 

Four years later, he was again charged and convicted for failing to register, and was jailed for half a year.

He is considered a "level 3" sex offender with a high risk to re-offend.
