Man robbed at gunpoint outside his front door

EL CENTRO, Calif. (KSWT News 13) - Police say a man was robbed at gunpoint at his own front door.

El Centro police say the victim heard noise outside his residence around 3:30 a.m. yesterday morning, when the robber confronted him with a gun and demanded money.

The robber was able to get away with $1,700 of the man's rent money.

The armed robber is still on the loose tonight. Police are investigating the hold up.
