Man killed outside nightclub after being kicked out by bouncer

IMPERIAL VALLEY, Calif. (KSWT News 13) - Police are investigating the death of a man who died shortly after being detained outside of an Imperial night club early Sunday morning.

Police have identified the man as Daniel Romero.

They say Romero started a fight inside Kashmir Nightclub and was detained by the bouncer.

They say Romero was unresponsive when they arrived.

Romero was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead upon arrival.

They are waiting on a coroner's report to determine the cause of death. No arrests have been made.
