Woman flown to Phoenix hospital after car rollover; 7 others injured

YUMA, Ariz. (KSWT News 13) - One woman has been airlifted to a Phoenix hospital and seven others were taken to Yuma Regional Medical Center after a rollover on Interstate-8.

It happened Saturday around 6:20 pm, near milepost 21.

Wellton Fire Department tells KSWT News 13 the front tire on the SUV blew out, causing the SUV to roll off the hill in the single car accident.

Rural Metro and Yuma Fire Department also responded to the crash.

The driver was airlifted with major injuries.
