YUMA, Ariz. (KSWT News 13) - A man who pointed a gun at a Yuma police officer was in court today.
Marco Velasco, 30, faces three charges, including two counts of aggravated assault for pointing a gun at a police officer.
It happened February 14 at around 1:15 a.m., after a police officer heard gunshots.
He found four men fighting in the street near Avenue A and 23rd Street.
Police say Velasco poitned a gun at the officer and took off running.
He ran into Pop-A-Top Saloon, where a bouncer wrestled the gun out of his hands.
Velasco's bond remains at $500,000.
He is due back in court on Friday.
