Man arrested after fleeing from police and trespassing into a home

YUMA, Ariz. (KSWT News 13) - A man is behind bars after evading deputies last night.

Charles Bay, 32, is being held on $100,000 bond.

He is being charged with threatening or intimidating and criminal trespass along with numerous drug charges.

Deputies tried to pull him over last night but he took off and then abandoned his car near 15th Street and 6th Avenue in Yuma.

After that, he ran to a nearby residence and told the homeowner not to answer to door.

Deputies later caught up with Bay at the residence where he was locked in the bathroom.

Bay will be back in court Friday.
