Sex offender has a new address in Yuma

A sex offender has a new address in Yuma.

Yuma police say 19-year-old Sergio Mendoza now lives at 838 South Second Avenue. 

Mendoza made a plea deal in Yuma County Superior Court.

Originally charged with sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl he knew, the deal reduced the charge to luring a minor for sexual exploitation. He's been sentenced to ten years intensive probation.

Police say Mendoza is a level three sex offender with a high risk to reoffend.
