Man jailed for shocking girl with electric stun gun and attempting rape

BLYTHE, Calif. (KSWT News 13) - A man is now behind bars for assaulting a girl with a stun gun as she was leaving his house.

Police say 23-year-old Martin Suro Junior unexpectedly assaulted the girl with an electric stun gun and nearly choked her unconscious at his Blythe house on Saturday night.

Officers say the girl was at his house working on school work.

He was booked into jail on charges of attempted rape, false imprisonment, terrorst threats and battery.
