Mother who kidnapped daughter appears in court

YUMA, Ariz. (KSWT News 13) - The mother who kidnapped her daughter at a McDonalds parking lot because of a custody battle with her ex-husband appeared in court today.

Chrystal Lopez will serve four more days in jail followed by 36 months of probation for pleading guilty to false reporting and to perjury.

Today, Judge John Nelson also ordered Lopez not to have contact with her daughter.

As you'll recall, Lopez turned herself in at the San Luis Port of Entry after she kidnapped her daughter and kept her from seeing her father for four years.
