Yuma High's "Mr. Criminal" advances to regionals for best high school mascot

YUMA, Ariz. (KSWT News 13) - The criminal, Yuma High School's mascot, is now one step closer to being crowned best national mascot.

The criminals dominated the first round of a competition for best school mascot in Arizona with more than 95 percent of the vote.

The winning school in the region will advance to the national contest.

The best high school sports mascot in America will receive $2,000 towards their athletic department.
