Two men arrested for stealing handguns from a home
EL CENTRO, Calif. (KSWT News 13) - Two El Centro men are behind bars for stealing two handguns from a home.
Police arrested 42-year-old Pauline Bryan and 24-year-old Michael Aarion after the homeowner reported the burglary last night.
Investigators found the stolen guns at a nearby motel room while investigating a separate drug case.
The homeowner had reported the theft of his 40 caliber semi-automatic glock pistol and 38 caliber derringer.
"We are thankful the stolen handguns were quickly recovered," said El Centro Police Commander Jeff Mason. "Otherwise there was a highly likelihood those firearms would have been used in other criminal activity."
Both men are in jail on $20,000 bail.
